Lawn Care and Landscape Crew Member (Seasonal)

McCormick Lawn & Living is a family‑owned, local lawn care, landscaping, and home services company focused on quality, consistency, and long‑term growth. In addition to outdoor services, we also provide interior painting and wallpaper work during the winter season.

We’re looking for a dependable Lawn Care and Landscape Crew Member to join our team for the season. You’ll work directly with the Owner on many jobs and, once trained, will also be trusted to work independently at job sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Lawn mowing, trimming, and edging

  • Spring and fall cleanups

  • Mulch installation and bed maintenance

  • General landscaping labor

  • Work directly alongside the Company Owner

  • Complete assigned work independently once trained

  • Operate equipment safely and professionally

  • Leave job sites clean and customer‑ready

Schedule

  • Seasonal, at‑will position (spring through fall)

  • Typically 30–40 hours per week during peak season

  • Schedule varies week‑to‑week based on weather and workload

  • Overtime paid for hours over 40

  • Weather may impact daily hours

  • Ability to perform physical outdoor labor

  • Prior experience is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical outdoor labor for extended periods

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb throughout the workday

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
